Eight days outside. Breath at first light, movement through the morning, shade through the heat, and a fire at night where everybody teaches one thing they know.
YES, I AM COMINGMost people cannot take eight days off, and nobody expects you to. Pick a day, drive in, train, eat with us, go home. Six dollars a carload gets you through the gate. That is the whole commitment.
I need a headcount for water, food and firewood. One minute and you are on the list. Coming for one day is a completely normal answer.
Or just text me. 954-652-8100This is not a fitness camp and it is not a retreat. It is a week of people learning how to stand, move, fall, get back up, and pay attention, on the ground, outdoors, at whatever pace the body allows that day.
Every age. No experience needed. If you have never done anything like this, you are exactly who it is for.
The body is not broken. It is uneducated. This is the education.
Children are welcome and they come with you. This is families training together, not a drop off. Every child stays with their own adult, and that adult is responsible for them the whole time. I teach. I do not supervise.
Your body decides when to stop, not the person beside you. Nobody quits because it got uncomfortable, and nobody pushes past what their body is saying. Both of those are the rule at the same time.
It is primitive camping. No electric at the site. There is a bathhouse with showers and flush toilets a short drive away, and that is also where we go if a storm comes through.
The park charges six dollars for a car carrying two to eight people, four if you are driving alone, two on foot or bike. That is paid at the entrance gate, not to me.
Staying overnight? The park bills this directly, not me.
Nothing is charged to enter. The park settles the total with us at the end of the week, once the headcount is final.
If you have what you need, say so and I will count you in.
YES. I AM COMING.
